Indications are that the Apple iPad Air has found itself on the top of many Christmas lists and will be a top seller this holiday season, at least if you believe the most recent ChangeWave survey.
According to the institutional research firms’ November report, 13% of respondents indicated they planned to buy a tablet in the next 90 days and 72% of those respondents said they would be purchasing their device from Apple. Furthermore, of the planned iPad purchasers, 55% said they planned to buy the iPad Air while 16% intend to purchase the iPad mini with Retina display.
ChangeWave surveyed 2,480 of its members, who tend to be early adopters of technology and wealthier than the general public.
The survey respondent’s interest in Microsoft tablets increased one percent over the previous survey, while interest in Samsung, Google, and Amazon tablets all decreased.
