Office Depot is one of the first retailers to sell the Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1, which is now available at the company’s retail stores and online site.
The IdeaPad K1, a 10.1-inch Android 3.1 Honeycomb-based slate, was previously available for pre-order on Office Depot’s website. The Wi-Fi only 32GB model of the tablet retails for $499 and comes with full Digital Rights Management support, making it the only Honeycomb tablet to date to support streaming Netflix.
The K1 sports a 1280 x 800 resolution display and features HDMI out, a NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, and Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity. The tablet also comes with an integrated front 2MP camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera.
Lenovo unveiled the K1 on July 20, along with the Windows-based IdeaPad Tablet P1 and the business-centric ThinkPad Android tablet. TabletPCReview has a K1 unit in house, a full review in the near future. In the meantime, we do have a little preview of what the Netflix certified tablet has to offer for those yearning to get a closer look at the device.
