Lenovo Miix2 8-Inch To Be a $300 Windows Tablet

Lenovo has just taken the wraps off the Miix2 8-Inch, an upcoming mid-size, mid-range tablet that will run Windows 8.1.

Lenovo Miix2 8-InchIt is going to have an 8-inch, WXGA (1280 x 768) multitouch IPS display that will have an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The Miix2 will run Microsoft’s next operating system on an Intel quad-core Bay Trail-T Atom processor. It will be available with storage up to 128GB, and a microSD slot that will add the potential for 32GB more.

It will come with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 pre-installed and be able to run the full range of Windows software.

The tablet will have two cameras: a 2MP one in front and a 5MP one in back. There will also be an optional stylus and cover/stand.

Lenovo says the Miix2 8-Inch will be introduced before the end of this month for $300.
