Lenovo TAB3 10 Business, TAB3 8, and TAB3 7 Android Tablets Unveiled at MWC2016
Wraps came off the Lenovo TAB3 10 Business at the Mobile World Congress trade show today. The company also announced two other inexpensive Android 6.0 tablets in this line: the TAB3 8 and TAB3 7, but these are designed to be family friendly.
TAB3 10 Business
This model will have a 10-inch 1920 by 1080 pixel (FullHD) IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3. It will be able to stand up to tough working environments using P2i technology to achieve IP52 performance for dust- and splash-proofing and shielding through scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 panels.
The TAB3 10 Business will run the latest version of Google’s operating system on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The device will come with Android For Work, which boasts an array of security and encryption options to help keep the business-related data on them secure.
4G LTE will be a option, and Lenovo is promising 12 hours of battery life. The TAB3 10 Business will have full support for USB on-the-go (USB OTG). The tablet will sport an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and 5MP fixed-focus front camera.
This tablet is scheduled to be available starting in July 2016. There’s no word yet on pricing.
TAB3 8 and TAB3 7
The TAB3 8 is going to have an 8-inch HD IPS display and front-facing dual speakers with Dolby Atmos cinematic moving audio, so it is intended to be used for multimedia.
The TAB3 7 will include a 7-inch SD IPS screen, and its water repellent coating will means users won;t have to worry about water splashing over it.
The TAB3 7 will start at €119 and the TAB3 8 will start at €149. Both will be available in June.
