Neither of the 8-inch Windows tablets Lenovo introduced in the last year are available in the U.S. anymore. This doesn’t mean the company is giving up on small-screen Windows devices in this country, however.

Lenovo ThinkPad 8The ThinkPad 8 debuted earlier this year, but recently disappeared from Lenovo’s official webstore. The 8-inch version of the company’s Miix2, which hit the market last fall, is also no longer listed.

Lenovo said in a statement:

“We will continue to bring new Windows devices to market across different screen sizes, including a new 8-inch tablet and 10-inch tablet coming this holiday. Our model mix changes as per customer demand, and although we are no longer selling ThinkPad 8 in the U.S., and we have sold out of Miix 8-inch.”

The ThinkPad 8 is no longer available directly from Lenovo, but some retailers still have this model in stock.

The recently-released Lenovo ThinkPad 10 is on the market in the U.S. The company also offers Android-based models in a range of sizes, like the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8.
