Today, Lenovo has officially announced its latest tablet, the IdeaTab S2109, via a YouTube video.
The tablet will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS while measuring at 8.9mm thick with a “gunmetal” body. It will sport a 9.7-inch display with a 4:3 aspect display and 1024 x 768 resolution, which is the same as the original iPad and Apple iPad 2. The IdeaTab S2109 will also have a TI OMAP ARM chipset, though the exact unit is unknown.
Other specs for that the tablet will include are: a 1.3MP front-facing camera as well as a microUSB, microHDMI, microSD card slot. The slate will also be equipped with four full SRS Trumedia sound speakers on the back, which Lenovo touted for their superior sound output. Lenovo also announced that the IdeaTab S2109 will have a 10-hour battery life.
There are currently no pricing or availability announced for the Lenovo IdeaTab S2109.
