AT&T is now offering the Moto Tab from Lenovo. This tablet features a 10.1-inch FHD display, and is designed to be used as a mobile entertainment device with a TV Mode and DIRECTV.
The 10.1-inch IPS screen has a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, giving it a pixel density of approximately 218 ppi. The display’s aspect ratio is 16:9, the same as a widescreen TV. The Moto Tab has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
TV Mode allows users to quickly access shows, movies, and DIRECTV content with a single swipe from either the home screen or the lock screen.
Naturally, this tablet can access AT&T’s 4G LTE network for streaming video when on the go. It also has Wi-Fi for use at home.
Moto Tab: More than Entertaining
Although AT&T is highlighting the entertainment features of this computer, it is capable of much more than that courtesy of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, with 8 cores running at up to 2.0 GHz. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat, and supports side-by-side multitasking.
There’s a modest 2 GB RAM and 32 GB of capacity for work or entertainment files. Up to 128 GB more can be added through an optional microSD card.
In addition, the Moto Tab boasts a fingerprint scanner and support for multiple user profiles, enabling it to be easily shared within a family. Plus there’s KIDOZ Kids Mode for younger users.
This tablet has a 7000 mAh battery which Lenovo says is good for up to 7.6 hours of use. Other features include an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP frint-facing one.
Lenovo’s Moto Tab is available now from AT&T for either $299.99 or $15 a month for 20 months.
