LG Optimus Pad Spotted at IFA

It looks like Samsung and ViewSonic will have a little tablet company at IFA this year. A sneaky photographer snapped this still of an LG Optimus Pad presentation at a pre-show IFA event.

While the slide is short on specifics, it does promise “superior performance” from an Android tablet that is “thinner and lighter than competitors’ tablets,” along with “many ‘firsts’.”

LG previously claimed they had an Android tablet set for a Q4 release, and they unveiled a Windows 7 tablet PC at Computex Taipei earlier in the year, calling it the UX10. That particular tablet had an Intel Atom processor, 10.1-LED touchscreen, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, WiFi, a front-facing webcam and HDMI out.
