Microsoft has been releasing a series of ads that compare Windows-based tablets with Apple iPad. The latest of these models is the Dell XPS 10.
The ad uses a Siri-like voice to point out that the iPad lacks a removable memory slot, while the Windows tablets has a microSD slot. It also brings up the iPad’s inability to display more than one running application at a time.
Of course, Microsoft was not trying to make a fair comparison — this is an advertisement after all. So it doesn’t bring up the very limited selection of third-party software available for the Windows RT-based Dell device when compared to the 100,000+ apps available for the iPad.
The Microsoft ad closes by pointing out that the Dell XPS 10 is currently available for $400.
