Those still using Windows XP can save $100 on Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 tablet.
Microsoft will be ending support for Windows XP next month, and is trying to tempt those still running that elderly operating system to buy a new computer.
Those who visit MicrosoftStore.com on an XP-based PC, or take it to a Microsoft retail store, will be offered $100 off the cost of a range of devices, including the Microsoft Surface Pro 2. These are all products that cost at east $600 — no mid-range tablets are included.
The deal is good from now until June 15.
