Microsoft Surface in Action on Vegas Strip

With all the emphasis on touch these days, it’s a not a surprise Microsoft has been demoing the Surface tables in public, so consumers can get that hands-on feel. Today’s technology is focused on the touch appeal in many products like desktops, notebooks, phones and more. It isn’t just about Tablet PCs anymore.

Video: Microsoft Surface at the Rio in Las Vegas

The Microsoft Surface is turning heads at the i-Bar in the Rio hotel on the Vegas strip. The video above demonstrates some of the tables features and of course the models are having so much fun. Looks to be very glamorous. Next time I am in Vegas I definitely will have to stop by the Rio for a little hands-on testing.

The Surface’s size maybe a draw back because it isn’t portable by any means, but for business use, it could be a great tool. Touch technology is catching on quickly from everyday things, like self-checking out of a grocery store to being used by meteorologists. I am curious to see how well the Surface does.
