The wait is over for Microsoft’s third-generation Windows tablet. This high-end model with a 12-inch display can now be purchased in the U.S. and Canada.
Not All Versions Available Today
Today is the release date for only the versions of this tablet with Intel Core i5 1.6Ghz processors. A model with 4GB of RAM/128GB of storage is $999, while a 4GB/256GB model is $1,299.
Core i3 and i7 versions of Surface Pro 3 will become available on August 1. The i3 version will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage, while there will be two i7 options: 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB.
Not all the accessories for this product are on the market yet, either. The Docking Station for Surface Pro will become available for purchase August 15, with pre-orders starting today.
Microsoft has not yet revealed the Surface Pro 3 release date for areas outside of the U.S. and Canada.
