More Evidence Suggests the Galaxy Tab Will Be a Verizon Device

Prior to the official “teasing,” the worst kept secret in the slate universe was that Samsung was working on a seven-inch Android tablet. Now that Samsung has revealed the Galaxy Tab, it seems the second-worst kept secret in the world is that the device is coming to Verizon.

BGR added to the mounting evidence with what the mobile-gadget blog calls “confirmation” that the Galaxy Tab will be a Verizon tablet, and has posted a screen shot of Verizon’s internal systems listing the device as proof. The screen grab is very clear, listing “SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB” next to item ID “SCH1800BKV.”

Earlier this week, a user in an Israeli Android forum posted pictures of the Galaxy Tab he claimed to be working with clearly labeled “CDMA,” which strongly suggests the device could be coming to Verizon or Sprint. Previously, the folks at BGR claimed to have peaked at a Verizon road map detailing devices for 2011 and 2012, featuring a listing for a Samsung tablet.
