Motion Releases “Client” Tablet PC

If your business or organization requires a “high security”, yet has employees who are on the move within the building, Motion Computing may have a suitable solution for you.

In the past, most businesses who use the standard “dummy terminals” which keep data stored on a main server have been forced to keep employees behind a desk.  Motion Computing has released a new innovative solution by offering a “Client” Tablet PC.  This device called the Motion M1400TC Tablet Client is thinner, powered by an Intel Celeron M, lighter and only requires the scaled down Windows Embedded software and 512MB of Flash Memory to run.

Large organizations will enjoy the added security and cost-effectiveness of this solution.  A perfect example might be a doctor’s office in which sensitive information needs to be entered in real time (i.e. while doctor is meeting with patient), then immediately stored on a secure server instead of a local hard drive. This new device starts at $1,649 and is now shipping.
