Motorola is developing a Google Android-powered tablet and plans to launch the device in Q4, according to a report from the Financial Times.
The device will reportedly have a 10-inch screen and a Verizon data connection. Financial Times claims the device will stream Verizon’s FiOS digital TV pay service, making the tablet perhaps the most media-friendly device of the upcoming crop of Android slates.
Motorola has an existing relationship with Verizon as the company manufactures Verizon’s FiOS set top boxes.
Other supposed specs include Adobe Flash support, dual cameras, video conferencing functionality, and a form factor thinner and lighter than the Apple iPad.
