Motorola Droid “Xyboard” Tablets Coming this Month
Two Motorola Droid Xyboard Android tablets will ship this month, both sporting Verizon LTE 4g, according to a new report. The new Droid Xyboard tablets are suspiciously similar to the Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition launched in Europe last month. In fact, they are likely the same devices by different names.
Both tablets will have a 1.2 GHz processor, most likely dual-core, though that is not confirmed, 1GB RAM as well as a 5-megapixel rear- and 1.3-megapixel front-shooter. Both will support Verizon LTE and ship with Corning Gorilla Glass. One will be 10-inches and will support a stylus, while the other 8-inches and geared for media consumption. Both are said to be very thin.
No word on pricing, though December 8th has been pegged as the release date, so we won’t have to wait long before learning how much these new 4G Android tablet will set us back.
