Acer introduced the Iconia W3 in June for a surprisingly low price of $380, but has already dropped the cost of this 8-inch tablet even more.
This lends credence to a recent report that Acer is already prepping a second-generation version that could launch next month — the company seems to want to run through its current inventory before that happens.
More About the Acer Iconia W3
This is the first small tablet running Windows 8 — the full version, not Windows RT. It has a 1.5 GHz dual-core Atom Z2760 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage.
The 8.1-inch touchscreen has a 1280 x 800 resolution, and the computer sports front- and rear-facing 2MP cameras.
