There are additional rumors to add to the mill regarding the HTC Puccini tablet after a leaked image illustrating the device’s measurements and details emerged.
The photo indicates a 10-inch HTC tablet, as previous rumors suggested. The codenamed tablet has also already been rumored to sport an 8MP camera with dual LED flash, stereo speakers and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor. It has also been said to run Android Honeycomb and have a HTC Sense interface.
The leaked image also displays an AT&T logo up front, signifying that this tablet could be the first tablet device for the carrier’s 4G network.
Though the report does not mention any release date details, the image shows a stylus alongside the tablet, indicative of digital pen. TabletPCReview assumes the tablet will employ many of the same pen-input actions as its cousins, the HTC Flyer and EVO View 4G.
With AT&T already debuting some of its LTE devices and that recent spotting of a very similar HTC tablet in an FCC filing, we might see this new device on the market sooner than we had thought.
