Toshiba has announced their Tecra M7 Tablet PC with Intel Core Duo technology. This marks the 5th mainstream Core Duo Tablet PC model we’ve seen offered by the major players.
According to Toshiba’s European website, the specs will include a choice of the 1.66GHz or 1.83GHz Core Duo CPU, the new NVIDIA “Quadro NVS 110M” GPU, an integrated 6-in-1 card reader, four USB ports, a PCMCIA slot, VGA out, FireWire, WLAN and Bluetooth.
It would be nice to see an EVDO option built-in to this business-oriented model, but at this time there is no infomation. This could change in the U.S. release as EVDO would require a seperate contract with an American service provider.
Stay tuned as we will post more information on the U.S. release of the M7 Tablet PC as information becomes available.
