AMD CPUs for Ultra-Mobile PCs

AMD (the world’s second largest computer chip maker) has been known to break out surprisingly powerful chips out of a hat, just when the industry is facing a bottleneck. The same company that brought us the first true 64-Bit CPUs for personal computers is rumored to have plans to support demand for Ultra-Mobile PC’s. Flybook V Series Tablet PC Models Arrive


There has been imeasureable excitement over incredible devices such as the Fujitsu P1500D Tablet PC and the new Ultra-Mobile PC devices. However, it seems that the makers of the mega-portable Flybook are still boasting the feature packed tiny notebooks/Tablet PCs. Fujitsu Tablet PC’s Dominate European Markets

Fujitsu Siemens is reporting a growth rate of 60% each year in Europe. Additionally the company reports that they have achieved the highest sales of Tablet PC and convertible notebook computers in 2005 for markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
