Kohjinsha’s K600 gets an Intel A100

With all the new ultra-portable notebooks making their way to the market like Via’s NanoBook and Asus’ Eee PC, Kohjinsha had to step it up. That is what they did too, by adding Intel’s new A100 processor to their second generation K600. This upgrade will help with XP/Vista and adds T-DMB television.

Nvidia Announces New GeForce GPU

According to Nvidia, the GeForce 8700M GT GPU raises the bar for DirectX 10 graphics and video performance. As with the entire GeForce 8M Series notebook GPU lineup, the GeForce 8700M GT delivers DirectX 10 gaming performance, Microsoft Windows Vista graphics, and HD DVD and Blu-ray video playback, pointed out the company.

Apple Announces Safari Browser for Windows

At the Worldwide Developers Conference 2007, Apple’s Chief Executive Steve Jobs announced that the company has developed a version of its Safari Internet browser for Windows. The move is aimed to increase market share; Safari is currently ranked third behind Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

A public beta version is now available for download.
