Tablet PC Maker Acer Profits Down?
Acer, the fourth largest PC maker in the world is expected to report a decrease in profits for the first time in five quarters. Blame for the loss is reported to be “reduced gains from investments in Taiwan”.
Acer supposedly has kept profits up in the past by “diposing” of its shares in Taiwan-based companies. A declining PC market in Europe is also considered to be a factor. Read more…
