Intel GPU’s Will Boost Tablet PC Graphics

Intel’s new GMA 965 chipset (codenamed “Broadwater”) is due to replace the current integrated technology. The new chipset promises better performance by using up to 256MB of system RAM vs. the 128MB limit of the current chipsets. Additionally the GMA 965 supports shader model ver. 4.0 and offers other notable enhancements and features. Read more…

Intel’s 64-Bit Processor “Merom” to Follow Core Duo

Intel continues to cruise along it’s processor roadmap by offering a 64-bit processor due for release this August. In keeping up with AMD’s plans to ship a dual core Turion chips this summer as well, Intel is incorporating this 64-bit technology into its current Core Duo processor line. Read more…
