Engadget reports that the Taiwanese Electronics Manufacturer Arima has released a moderately-speced UMPC dubbed the UM650UV1 (yeah, pretty catchy moniker eh?). The unit sports a 1GHz VIA C7-M processor, 512 MB DDR2 Ram, and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. A VX700 UniChrome Pro Graphics chip powers the 6.5" 800×480 touchscreen with LED backlighting. The downside is that the unit is sans both WiFi and Bluetooth which is pretty inexcusable these days.
