Microsoft Releases Live Writer Blogging Software Beta

Microsoft has jumped on the blogging band wagon with the release of the beta version of Live Writer. The software is aimed primarily at bloggers for Windows Live Spaces, but also can be used with other popular services. It offers WYSIWYG editing and support for embedding images and graphics. So far several early reviewers have been critical of the software, but since it is only in beta there’s still time to work out the kinks. The Live Writer beta is available at the Microsoft Writer Zone.
