E FUN specializes in low-cost and budget laptops and 2-in-1s, typically sold at Walmart at very low prices — sometimes hovering around $100. It’s not taking the new year off, and has three new Nextbook devices ready for CES 2017, including the 12-inch E FUN Nextbook Flexx 12 Flip 2-in-1, and an 8-inch traditional tablet.

The Nextbook Flexx 12 Flip 2-in-1 Windows Tablet will come bundled with a detachable Pogo-pin keyboard, allowing this tablet to convert into a laptop. It will run Windows 10 on an Intel Atom quad-core processor, with an Intel GEN8 graphics processor. The device’s 12.2-inch IPS touchscreen will have a resolution of 1920 x 1200, giving it a pixel density of 185 ppi.

This computer will offer 128GB of internal storage, and include a microSD card slot for additional capacity. It will also sport a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac/b/g/n.

E FUN will debut the Flexx 12 Flip in Q2 for an as-yet undisclosed price. Don’t expect it to break the bank.

Two Android Tablets Too

The Nextbook Ares 12 Flip 2-in-1 Android Tablet will be essentially the same device as the Flexx 12 Flip, but running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. E FUN says this model will also begin shipping in the second quarter of this year, but the company isn’t yet ready to reveal this price, either.

The Nextbook Ares 8A Android Tablet will have an 8-inch, 1280 x 800 IPS touchscreen, giving it a pixel density of 188 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is going to run Android 6.0 on an Intel Atom quad-core processor, and will sport a built-in micro-HDMI port.

The price for this model also has not yet been revealed, but will go on sale a bit earlier: before the end of March.
