Nokia is allegedly getting close to introducing its first tablet. Many of the details of this model, code-named “Sirius”, have leaked out.
This tablet will allegedly run Windows RT 8.1 on Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, with 2GB of RAM. There will be 32GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot.
A leaked image of the device (at right) shows that at least one version of the Sirius tablet will include support for 4G LTE cellular-wireless networking, and be offered by Verizon.
The unnamed source for this info indicated that Nokia plans to bundle a keyboard with the device.
The Nokia Sirius is supposedly going to be priced similarly to the iPad, which likely means it will be about $500.
It could be unveiled on September 26.
