While Google Android and Apple iOS duke it out in the mobile and soon-to-be tablet OS space, one competitor that also might make noise is MeeGo, the platform that is equal parts Intel Moblin and Nokia Maemo.

In a video walkthrough posted on YouTube by user “meegodemo,” a pre-alpha version of MeeGo is demoed running on what appears to be a seven to nine-inch tablet. Features of note include light multitasking, HD video playback, social media integration and at least five simultaneous input points. The narrator also mentions and Intel AppUp client, which connects to Intel’s version of the app store.
