The 7-inch iPad rumors never seem to go away, do they? A report from DigiTimes is saying that the “iPad Mini” will be launching as early as August, with the new iPhone following suit in September.
Sources claimed that Foxconn will be responsible for the manufacture of the smaller iPad in August. Many reports have surface about the size of the screen, with the most recent saying that the “iPad Mini” will sport a 7.85-inch screen with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution.
These reports also claimed that Apple plans to launch a new 10-inch iPad by the end of 2012, which will be built by Pegatron.
In addition to all of these iPad rumors, DigiTimes reports that Pegatron is also rumored to manufacture the new iPhone after just recently receiving orders from Apple. The new iPhone is looking at an alleged September release.
Like most DigiTimes reports, take these reports with a grain of salt.
