The perpetual rumormonger, citing no sources, is claiming Acer will delay their ARM-based tablet, pushing it back from a Q4 release to Q1, 2011. DigiTimes also claims that Acer’s Windows 7 Tablet PC is expected to launch later this year. Unconfirmed reports indicate Android 3.0 will support larger displays and tablet-specific hardware requirements, including at least a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. In addition, it will feature a new user interface that is more tablet friendly. Insiders expect Android 3.0 to be available this fall.
