If HTC is working on an Android tablet, there runs the possibility that its release has been pushed back to Q2 of 2011.
This, according to distinguished rumormonger DigiTimes, citing sources from the Chinese-language Apple Daily and an analyst from JP Morgan. The report claims Google is currently working more wholeheartedly with Motorola regarding Android 3.0, and when Android 3.5 ships, LG will receive Google’s special attention.
Back in September, the rumors indicated that HTC might be looking to release its tablet in Q1 of next year. Of course, this report came from DigiTimes as well, and it merely cited “Taiwanese component makers.” A week later, DigiTimes followed up, claiming the HTC Android tablet will sport a multi-touch display (1280 x 720), 32GB SSD, 2GB storage, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, and will be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor.
