It appears that the recent release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab may not have been the end of the company’s foray into the tablet market, as the Samsung Gloria, a 10-inch tablet PC with a slide-out keyboard, could be on the way, according to French blog Blogeee.net. The rumored Gloria will supposedly run on Windows 7, unlike the last Samsung tablet, which ran on Google’s Android operating System.
The addition of the slide-out keyboard does not mean it will be the device’s only input method, however, as the tablet PC will also maintain the touchscreen capabilities found in the Galaxy Tab. Blogeee.net claims that, according to its multiple sources, the Samsung Gloria will be available sometime between March or April 2011. But for now, any supposed news on the Gloria should be taken lightly, and the only images available — like the one featured here — are artistic renderings of what the tablet may look like.
