Though there is no official word when or if the Samsung Galaxy Note will be heading to the US, a new report suggests it might make its way Stateside via AT&T.
The Galaxy Note recently popped up in the FCC database with support for the 850MHz and 1900MHz frequencies, which are the same AT&T supports. Of course, there is also the possibility the device could launch unlocked.
The Samsung Galaxy Note rides the line between smartphone and tablet with its 5.3-inch Super AMOLED 1280 x 800 display. It runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and sports a dual-core processor. It can be used to make phone calls and it also supports a proprietary active stylus called the S Pen.
The device earned praises for its excellent performance and superb display in our Galaxy Note review, though it is awkwardly sized. As the review noted, “By design it’s too small to be a tablet and too large to be a smartphone.”
