Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Tablets Will Cost $200-$350
The wait for Samsung‘s new Galaxy Tab 4 tablets is almost over.
The Galaxy Tab 4 will be available May 1 in the U.S., in three sizes and at affordable prices. The 7-, 8- and 10.1-inch Android tablets, which we first reported on earlier this month, will each sport a 1280×800 screen, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, and 1.5 GB of RAM to run Android 4.4 KitKat.
Samsung will also release the Galaxy Tab 4 Portfolio, a case with a textured back and lighter-weight profile, on May 1.
The Galaxy Tab 4 tablets will hit the market just in time for the busy Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and graduation season, and mobile carriers are already jumping to capitalize. T-Mobile will introduce the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 4 with 4G LTE at some point this summer, paired with its T-Mobile Simple Choice Plan. This plan gives customers 1.2 GB of free data to use through the end of the year with their new tablet.
The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will start at $200, the 8-inch at $270, and the 10.1-inch at $350. The tablets will be available for preorder starting April 24.
