Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 start today. This high-end Android tablet was announced last month, but the price and release date is only now being made public.
The follow-up to last year’s popular Galaxy Tab S2 is going to debut at $599.99, which is $100 more than its predecessor. The upcoming model will boast additional features though, like a pressure-sensitive active pen and USB Type-C port.
The Galaxy Tab S3 is set to hit store shelves on March 24, a week from today.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Details
Samsung’s next tablet will sport a 9.7-inch, 1536 by 2048 pixel, Super AMOLED screen. This will be able to display HDR content, as well as 4K video at 60fps. Support for with S Pen pressure-sensitive stylus will also be included.
The Galaxy Tab S3 will debut running Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat on a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. There will be just 32GB of internal storage, but a microSD slot will enable increasing that by up to 256 GB.
Other features in this tablet will include a 13 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front one. The a 6,000mAh fast-charging battery will supposedly provide 12 hours of video on a single charge. There will be four stereo speakers, as well as a biometric fingerprint scanner.
An optional cost-extra feature will be integrated 4G LTE for nearly ubiquitous data access. All versions of the Galaxy Tab S3 will include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2.
Samsung will offer a clip-on folio keyboard/case to turn this computer unto a two-in-one. This won’t be included in the $599.99 price, however.
