Samsung sells more tablets than any company besides Apple, and one of its most popular Android models of this year is likely to be the just-announced Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.

This will sport a 9.7-inch, 1536 by 2048 pixel, Super AMOLED screen, like last year’s Galaxy Tab S2. The difference is that the upcoming version will be able to display HDR content, as well as 4K video at 60fps. Support for with S Pen pressure-sensitive stylus will be included.
Samsung’s previous offering also came in an 8-inch version. The follow up will not; 9.7 inches is the only option.
More Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Specs
The Galaxy Tab S3 will debut running Android 7.0 Nougat on a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. There will be 32GB of built-in storage, but a microSD slot will enable increasing that by up to 256 GB.
Samsung will offer a clip-on folio keyboard/case to turn this computer unto a two-in-one. This will make it suitable for light business use and education, as well as personal productivity.
Other features will include a 13 MP rear-facing camera paired with a 5 MP front one. The tablet’s 6,000mAh fast charging battery will allegedly provide 12 hours of video on a single charge. There will be four stereo speakers tuned by AKG as well as a biometric fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 won’t go on sale until next month. The price hasn’t been announced yet, and will vary by region, but is likely to be around $500 in the U.S.
