It seems the folks over at Engadget have discovered the Samsung Q2 UMPC. Unlike its predecessor the Q1P, the Q2 will have an unknown Intel processor (not Via), a 1024 x 600 WSVGA resolution, two digital cameras, a fingerprint scanner and it will run Windows Vista. The Q2 will also sport three connectivity options including Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi (802.11b/g), HSDPA and WiBro. Now this might spark some interest in the UMPC arena.
The Q2 will still maintain the 7-inch touchscreen, 1GB of RAM and 60GB hard drive, which keeps the device portable. No word on what this little wonder is going to cost or when it will be available, but word has it that it will be announced at CeBit, which starts next week. When CeBit starts I am sure more information will be revealed, so keep your eyes open.
