Sprint customers will now have the option to pay for data access on the carrier’s 3G and 4G network using the HTC EVO View 4G on a daily, weekly or monthly basis with no long-term contract.
The day pass offers customers 150MB of on-network usage in a 24-hour period, including 50MB off-network roaming usage, for $14.99. The weekly deal grants users 500MB of on-network usage in a 7-day period, with 100MB off-network roaming usage, for $29.99. And those who wish to access 3G/4G support by the month will pay $49.99 for 1.5GB, including 150MB off-network roaming, of usage in a 30-day period.
Once customers hit their data limit, or the end of the usage period, the data access automatically turns off so no overage charges will occur. All options are available for both businesses and consumers.
The HTC EVO View 4G can be purchased at any Sprint store and the carrier is supplying a limited time free one-day trial of 3G/4G access with a promotional code. The company plans to launch additional Mobile Broadband devices that can take advantage of Sprint’s new plan later this year.
