T-Mobile is having a one-day sale tomorrow, Sept. 24, where the carrier will be selling select tablets for a $100 or less.
Of T-Mobile’s offerings, the G-Slate and the Dell Streak 7 will both receive significant price reductions. The G-Slate, an anaglyph 3D-capable tablet from LG, will cost $99, which is $300 less than the usual retail price. Customers will have to put a down payment of $299 in stores tomorrow but will receive $200 back after a mail-in rebate. The slate runs Android Honeycomb and features an 8.9-inch display, a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM.
As for the Dell Streak 7, the slate will cost $0 after a $100 down payment and a $100 mail-in rebate. T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ tablet usually retails for $99 and packs a dual-core processor.
Customers will need to purchase a two-year contract to be eligible for the sale. Currently T-Mobile’s cheapest mobile broadband plan costs $39.99 per month and includes 2GB of monthly Web access, with unlimited Wi-Fi access at T-Mobile hotspots.
