TabletPCReview Black Friday Deals Guide

Who has time for turkey when Black Friday is almost here? While the team at TabletPCReview may carve out a few hours for feasting with the family and watching football, we will do so with one eye on the door-busting deals that traditionally mark the day after Thanksgiving.

While we already know that this season’s hottest new tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, will be on sale at Best Buy and Radio Shack, the biggest jaw-dropper is that the 16GB Wi-Fi Apple iPad may be sitting in a TJ Maxx discount bin near you for $100 off the regular retail price of $499.

Many assume TJ Maxx is simply reselling iPads they picked up for full price from other retailers, and are selling the Apple tablet a loss as a means to drive traffic to the stores. If true, that could mean extremely limited quantities, so TPCR suggests calling ahead before making the trip.

Looking over the list of Black Friday sales items, low-priced Android tablets and low-end eReaders dominate the deals. But there are a few diamonds in this rough.

The Barnes & Noble NOOK Wi-Fi edition hits the magical $99.99 price point at Best Buy. That’s $50 off the device that TPCR dubbed the number two overall eReader in the Holiday Buyer’s Guide.

This list is far from complete. New deals are popping up all over, and some don’t start until Friday, November 26th. Please keep checking back as the team keeps posting the deals.
