Lenovo Miix 8One of the stars of Computex 2013 was the Acer Iconia W3, an 8-inch table that will run Windows 8. This will soon have a competitor from Lenovo that made a brief appearance at the tradeshow.

Microsoft‘s Leigha Anderson gave a quick glimpse of the Lenovo Miix 8 during a presentation at the show in Taipei. However, she did not reveal much about this upcoming model, other than the name and that it will have an 8-inch screen. The device wasn’t even turned on during the short demo.

At this point, it’s not known when the tablet will be officially announced, or what it will cost. Stilll, if it hopes to compete with the Iconia W3, it willl need a low price, as that model is going to sell for just $380.

One additional thing is known for sure: like all Windows tablets of this size, the Miix 8 willl come bundled with Microsoft Office.
