Toshiba has just launched the Excite 7, an inexpensive, entry-level tablet running Google’s Android OS.
The device runs Android 4.2.2 on a Rockchip RK3188 quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. Its storage can be increased with a microSD memory card slot.
Toshiba’s latest supports Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, and has a 3.0MP rear camera and a 0.3MP webcam.
The Excite 7 (AT7-A7) is available now from Toshiba’s website. It sells for $170.
