The Toshiba Excite X10, dubbed the world’s thinnest 10.1-inch tablet, is now available for pre-order on FutureShop.ca.
According to the Canadian retailer, the device will be released this Wednesday, February 29. The 16GB Wi-Fi version will be sold for $549.99, while the 32GB one can be bought for $599.99.
The Toshiba Excite X10 will sport a high resolution LCD screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution. The Excite X10 will initially launch with Android Honeycomb OS, but it is expected to receive Ice Cream Sandwich shortly after its launch. It will also feature a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor with 1GB of RAM, along with microUSB, microSD, and microHDMI ports, GPS capability, a 5.0MP rear-facing camera, and a 2.0MP front-facing shooter.
There are no confirmed reports from Toshiba about the actual release date in America as well as the exact pricing of the Excite X10, so take the sale/advertisement as a grain of salt.
