If you are an M7 owner and had a chance to read our recent Toshiba M7 User Review, perhaps you noticed something “different” about the keyboard in the photos and the keyboard on your own M7 tablet. We know that at least one reader took note that his M7 keyboard has a different layout than the unit pictured in the review!
We received an email from Sander Huisman alerting us to his odd discovery. Sander sent us a photo of the keyboard on his M7, and sure enough it has a slightly different layout than that of user review author Da_Mavster’s particular machine. Have a look at the photos below:

So what’s the big difference? We’ll hint that the most obvious difference is the placement of the “Windows Key”. I would guess that fans of this function would prefer the second layout. However, we must ponder the possibilies. Did Toshiba use up some left over keyboards from an older model? Does the configuration on the inside act as the deciding factor in regards to the keyboard layout for specific units? Is our reader Sander just fooling us with Photoshop? I guess we’ll need some help from the Hardy Boys! Until then, we’d love to hear from users who may have found discrepancies in their own M7 keyboard layouts…
