Add the Toshiba Smart Pad to the list of tablet well see at IFA in Berlin. This according to the Italian site Notebookitalia, which also leaked a handful of images of the Nvidia Tegra 2 powered tablet.
The Smart Pad images closely resemble the device Toshiba’s Mark Whittard waved to an audience in Australia earlier this month, and reveal a handful of specs. This includes a front-facing webcam, HDMI port, and card reader. There are also four buttons running down the right side of the screen, presumably for back, home, maximize and magnify.
According to the report, the Smart Pad will run Google Android. Though, Whittard reportedly made references to a Windows 7 model. Previous reports indicated the Toshiba Smart Pad will sport a 10-inch screen.
The DigiTimes claimed earlier this month that Toshiba could unveil the Smart Pad as early as September, which is right around the time of IFA in Berlin.
