Microsoft doesn’t have a trade-in program for its Surface tablets, but retail giant Best Buy is filling in the gaps. It’s offering up to $350 for these devices.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and Surface 2 are set to debut on Oct. 22, and many of those who have the original versions would like to upgrade. One way of helping pay for a new tablet is to trade in an older one.
Naturally, the amount Best Buy will pay depends on the configuration of the tablet and its condition. A Microsoft Surface Pro with 128GB of built-in storage in good condition can pull in $350, but a Surface RT 32GB in poor condition gets a measly $67.50.
Best Buy’s top price for a Surface Pro 64GB is $315, for the Surface RT 64GB is $175, and the Surface RT 32GB is $150.
