Velocity Micro has announced its two latest Android tablets, the 8-inch Cruz T408 and the 10-inch Cruz T410, which are set to hit store shelves at the end of the month.
While the T408 will sport an 8-inch 800 x 600 4:3 capacitive touchscreen, the larger T410 will have a 1024 x 600 16:9 capacitive touchscreen. Both tablets feature 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The two tablets will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread-powered, though based on the screenshots it appears Velocity Micro dressed them with some Honeycomb-style UI customizations. Not eligible for the Android Market, the Cruz slates will come pre-loaded with the Amazon App store for Android, the Kindle app, Angry Birds Rio and QuickOffice.
In addition the T408 and T410 Cruz will feature front-facing cameras, microSD card slots and Flash Player 10.3 support.
