Verizon 4G Motorola Xoom Ice Cream Sandwich Update Finally Available

After months of delays, the 4G version of the Motorola Xoom has finally received the latest Android update, to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4).

Motorola XoomWhile the Wi-Fi version of the Xoom received the update in early 2012, 4G LTE Xoom owners were stuck with Honeycomb. Now, those users who have the 4G model can experience the Ice Cream Sandwich update, which includes speech-to-text functionality, a customizable launch bar, and the ability to dismiss notifications with a swipe.

Other features from the OTA update include a new built-in photo editor, a usage center to manage the data consumption, the ability to create folders, and a notification box to view all inboxes and notifications.
