Verizon Now Offering Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, a Powerful Android Tablet with LTE

An version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with 4G LTE is now available from Verizon Wireless. It is priced at $600.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1The cutting-edge tablet debuted last year, but that version relied on Wi-Fi for internet access. The 4G LTE version released today is able to access Verizon’s fastest cellular-data network.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 runs on a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. The tablet comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable with up to 64GB of additional storage via the microSD card slot.

As its name indicates, the device has a 10.1-inch screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution, and is equipped with a front-facing and a rear-facing camera — 5 and 1.9 megapixels respectively. The tablet runs on the Android 4.1 (Jellybean) operating system.

It comes with Samsung’s S Pen, a pressure-sensetive stylus that uses Wacom technology. There’s also a suite of apps designed for stylus-based input. Samsung has also added the ability to display two apps side-by-side.
