Verizon Now Offering Tablet Users a One-Day Data Pass for $5

Verizon has just begun offering a new option for wireless data access: a pre-paid, one-day pass that gets the user 300MB for $5.

Verizon TabletThose who are interested in this option will (obviously) need a tablet with built-in support for Verizon’s wireless network. There are a number of possible models to choose from, including the 4G-enabled versions of the Apple iPad and the brand-new Nokia Lumia 2520.

The $5 payment will get the user 300 MB. This will be available for 24 hours or until the 300 MB is exhausted, whichever comes first. If the user wants additional data, they will need to pay another $5 for 300GB more.

Plans like these are good for those who just occasionally need to connect a tablet to the Internet when Wi-Fi isn’t available.
